BCBC Antibody Core » Overview
The Core services the BCBC community by developing monoclonal antibodies directed against cell surface antigens (mouse and human). Such antibodies will allow for the unambiguous identification of the distinct cell lineages which arise during ESC development and subsequent maturation into hormone-producing endocrine cells. Monoclonal antibodies that recognize distinct subpopulations of pancreatic cells will be useful for isolating specific cell types and in both cell targeting and cell imaging of the pancreas.
