EPConDB is a resource of the Beta Cell Biology Consortium and contains information about genes expressed in cells of the pancreas and their transcriptional regulation. Pancreatic genes were also identified by microarray analysis of pancreatic tissues. Microarray chips based on these pancreatic genes (PancChip and PromoterChip) have been developed. These chips are described and results of their usage presented.
