Description:	ES cells were modified by homologous recombination to replace a 6.912 kb region of the Ghrelin (GHRL) gene from 2.7 kb upstream of exon 1 to 0.5 kb downstream of exon 5 with tandemly oriented lox71 and lox2272 sites as well as both positive and negative selectable markers. the gene was replaced by tandemly oriented lox71 and lox2272 sites as well as both positive and negative selectable markers.
