OE.Human.CDK6.Tetracycline Responsive Element (TRE) - Adenovirus RES4100

Over-expression Construct Information

NCBI Gene Name Cyclin-dependent kinase 6
NCBI Gene Symbol CDK6
NCBI Gene ID 1021
Species Human
Nucleotide Accession Number NM_001259.6
Promoter Tetracycline Responsive Element (TRE)
Tag HA
Mutation Not provided
Comments The tet response element (TRE) is placed upstream of the human cdk6 cDNA in this Ad5 backbone adenovirus. The cdk6 construct also contains a C-terminal HA tag. When human islets are co-transduced with the adenovirus that uses the CMV-driven tet-transactivator (TTA), the cdk6 expression assessed by both immunohistochemistry and immunoblot, using either cdk6 or HA antibodies, is abundant, and increases in a dose-related manner over 72 hours with doses beginning at 0.1 ug/ml, and increasing to 1 µg/ml. This construct was generated using pACCMVpLpA & pJM17 in HEK293 cells.
