Jean-Philippe Cartailler, Ph.D. - Staff Profile

The efforts of the BCBC Coordinating Center informatics team are focused on the development and maintenance of the BCBC website, betacell.org. The BCBC website acts as a nexus of information and resources vital to the sucess of the objectives set forth by the Consortium. Jean-Philippe's interests include theory and application of Information Architecture (IA), web application development, and data aggregation and mining. Jean-Philippe has also authored articles, multimedia, and other information resources that are available on the website. Current and future efforts will include new reagent resources, enhanced access mechanisms for existing data resources, community-driven tools (e.g. social networking, blogs), as well as data aggregation and presentation.
