2012 BCBC Investigator Retreat

Register before the deadline (Mar. 30, 2012)

Chantilly, VA · May 1-May 4, 2012

The 2012 BCBC Investigator Retreat will be held May 1-4, 2012 at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, VA. This retreat will provide BCBC Investigators, Co-Investigators, pertinent lab members, staff and students an excellent opportunity to stimulate progress towards the mission of the BCBC, as well as initiate new research collaborations and develop existing ones. Registration will open Thursday, March 1, 2012.

Investigators will be eligible to register once the Coordinating Center has captured resources associated with their closed 2010 project deliverables. Affiliates will be able to register after their PI invites them to the retreat during the first step of the registration process, and once their profile information is up-to-date. 2011 Investigator Planning Meeting

The 2011 Investigator Planning Meeting provides an excellent opportunity for BCBC Investigators to assess the progress of BCBC scientific initiatives, and set the course for the Consortium''s future direction. Meeting Registration is now OPEN and closes on Wednesday, August 31. The 46 Investigators invited to this meeting will be eligible to register once their U01 project leader has updated the project deliverables. 2011 BCBC Investigator Retreat

McLean, VA · May 11-May 13, 2011

It is time once again for the Beta Cell Biology Consortium (BCBC) Investigator Retreat. This annual retreat will include BCBC Investigators, Co-Investigators, pertinent lab members, staff and students. It will be an excellent opportunity to stimulate progress towards the mission of the BCBC, as well as initiate new research collaborations and develop existing ones. The Meeting will be held May 11-13, 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton, Tyson''s Corner in McLean, VA. Registration will open March 1, 2011.

2010 BCBC 3.0 Kickoff Planning Meeting

Washington, DC · October 3-October 5, 2010

Planning for the 2010 BCBC 3.0 Kickoff is underway. All BCBC Investigators are invited to participate in this meeting, which will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in the Georgetown area of Washington, D.C. The purpose of this meeting will be to introduce all members to BCBC policies and mode of operation, to develop a strategic plan for future collaborative interactions, and to initiate the development of shared resources such as cores and databases. A draft meeting agenda and additional details will be added soon.

This meeting will mark the beginning of the BCBC 3.0 funding cycle.

2010 BCBC Investigator Retreat

It is time once again for the Beta Cell Biology Consortium (BCBC) Investigator Retreat. This annual retreat will include all BCBC investigators, CBP, P&F, SCRBCB, ARRA collaborators, pertinent lab members, staff and students. It will be an excellent opportunity to initiate new research collaborations and develop existing ones.

This retreat will also mark the end of the BCBC 2.0 funding cycle.
